Kevin Francis Delaney

Hi there. I see that you have added Kevin Francis Delaney to a list of notable recipients on the Legion of Merit and Navy Distinguished Service Medal pages. Unfortunately, Kevin Francis Delaney does not seem to meet Wikipedia's Notability requirements. This is partly evidenced by the fact that his name brings up a redlink when he is added to the list. After reviewing Wikipedia's notability requirements, if you believe that he meets them, then I encourage you to go to Wikipedia:Articles for creation and start his article. However, until his notability is established by an article, he should not be included on a list of Notable Recipients. Receipt of the Legion of Merit or Navy Distinguished Service Medal does not confer notability, and are quite common awards to Admirals. Cheers. EricSerge (talk) 17:16, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
