Y-DNA J1 and mtDNA H3 checking in[edit]
Hi John.
It turns out coincidentally I am Y-DNA haplogroup J1 (Grandparents from Tuscany, tracing back to about 1850) and mtDNA haplogroup H3 (mother's family from Northern Europe, oldest known ancestor came to North America in 1660 from Holland.)
