Your edits have been deleted as unsourced by another editor. While the film does show Bosambo as an escaped convict, it skims over many of the elements in the original series of novels while taking parts from not only the title novel, but also - in particular - Sandi the Kingmaker. There could be a case for a section in the article on the film comparing it to the novels and identifying which elements of the plot come from which novel, and referencing the differences - including the film's decision to set the location in Nigeria, but not in any geographically-identifiable part of that country.
