Welcome!

Hello, Johnhbaxter, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

I suggest that you read about Wikipedia's policies, especially about vanity pages (see WP:Vanity) and neutral point of view (see WP:NPOV). You should also read the talk page and edit history of pages before you make edits (other than obvious typos). For example, your edit to Singer-songwriter has been reverted - there is a comment in the article to not add any new names to the list without discussing the addition on the talk page. It appears from your username and the fact that you have created an article by the same name that you are self-promoting yourself, which is highly frowned upon. -- wrp103 (Bill Pringle) (Talk) 13:27, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
