about the consonant allophones on the "Thai language" wikipedia article

i'm not a mod of any sort, i just wanna ask you what the decision behind adding allophones in the consonants was?

specifically the /k~g/, /kʰ~x/, and /s~z~ɕ/

not sure if there are any sources about this, or if thai ppl can say /z/ — ppr22📄 17:41, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
