October 2011[edit]

Hello Johnwatkins06. If you have come to Wikipedia to advocate for a cause with which you are affiliated you may be considered to have a conflict of interest when editing subjects related to that cause on wikipedia.
The reason I have left you this message is becuase your first & thus far only edit to wikipedia was a talk post accusing me of "vandalizing" the Men's rights article[1] (a page I incidentally have not edited since 2009) is

  1. a red flag with regard to conflict of interest and an indicator that you are unfamiliar with our policies (and what vandalism is) on wikipedia
  2. it may also be an indicator that you have come here either to advance a cause, or
  3. to harass others you believe disagree with you, or
  4. at the behest of another user who holds similar views.

All of the above is inappropriate. Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Cailil talk 00:40, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
