Goroka 'twin towns'
[edit]Hallo, JonathonWinarske. Good to see you're contributing.
I want to let you know, in a friendly way, that I've removed the "Twin towns" section from the Goroka article. I've done this because it appears that Toowoomba and Brisbane are not yet "sister cities" (or "twin cities" or "twin towns") with Goroka - see Toowoomba city site and Brisbane city site. This article says that Goroka is expected to become a sister city with Toowoomba in 2012. I can only find one plausible reference online to a current sister city for Goroka: the capital of Fujian province, China - but there seems to be no strong substantiation for it. If you have a good published source for the information, by all means please add it again. Everything on Wikipedia must be verifiable.
Thanks and regards,

Placeopedia
[edit]Why are you placing links to this site in many geographical articles? Putting one of the {{coor}} templates allows similar functionality for the user, and allows them to use their choice of mapping software. If there has been discussion of why Placeopedia should get preferential treatment, please show me where this discussion has occurred.-gadfium 18:52, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- I have now removed these links.-gadfium 20:47, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
