Thanks for being up front about that. Your edits look OK to me in general, as they are very neutral. However we have a strict policy about paid editing. Please have a look at the policy and update your user page to indicate that you are an employee of White Cube and are being paid to make those edits, and list your paid edits on the talk page of each page you edit. In general, to avoid conflict of interest, you should probably not make any edits that aren't extremely minor, per WP:COI. Not doing so risks the chance that pages you edit could be tagged with banners indicating the page was edited by a paid editor, and/or a tag indicating an editor of the page has a conflict of interest. I'd prefer not to have any paid editing tags on anything and would prefer to revert the articles if required. Please advise, I did not know about the paid editing policy and believed that impartial edits would not be an issue.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonelowe (talk • contribs)

Wikipedia does not see you as impartial if you are working for the art dealer of the article subject, even if the edits are minor. I reverted some of the edits, like this one where you wikilinked to White cube six times, and we'll see what other editors think after the COI discussion. (We only link once to an article, per WP:MOS) Your edits were generally helpful, but we really discourage paid editing by those with a conflict of interest as it brings down the general quality of the encyclopedia. An out of date article is better than one partially edited by someone with a promotional interest, as it brings into question the objectivity of the article. It also generates extra work for the volunteer editors who have to fix the articles. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 23:30, 29 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
