WWJ-TV / WKBD Hi Tom,

I'm a Web Producer at WWJ-TV / WKBD. I was asked to change the logo on the WWJ-TV listing. I'm a newbie to Wikipedia editing and noticed that you are quite well versed in editing this topic.

I'm in the process of talking to a user (Fastily) who deleted my new logo image because of an incorrect license. We'll see how that goes.

Just thought I'd introduce myself and if you can offer any help or wisdom in my task I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

You have to have a copyright tag. Check other TV station articles for one. TomCat4680 (talk) 04:02, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the help! I put the tag in and followed the non-free logo example of WXYZ-TV. So far so good. JorgeMSU (talk) 13:36, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I saw that WKBD-TV's logo had the same problem so I fixed it. TomCat4680 (talk) 15:37, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I uploaded a new version of the CW50 logo. It looked small and had some compression garbage. I uploaded a second, thinking that it needed to have the same filename, because it looked like it didn't take, but it just needed a second and a refresh. I reverted to the first new one. Oh and sorry if I'm not using talk correctly. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to tack on my reply to my first message to you, but I couldn't find it. JorgeMSU (talk) 18:18, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's okay, as long as its all on one page I don't mind if its here or there. TomCat4680 (talk) 18:51, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can you help me understand why the image is still the small poor quality version even though I've uploaded new versions. They've appeared for a while and then it seems to revert on it's own. I try to manually revert the image to one from the history and it doesn't seem to work the way you'd think. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. When you upload it under the same file name it takes the size of the old one. Upload it under a different file name and it'll be the right size. TomCat4680 (talk) 18:44, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nevermind, looks like you fixed it. TomCat4680 (talk) 18:47, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
