“Angels in Islamic art often appear in illustrations of stories from the Qur'an.”

This point needs some qualification: in what kinds of books are these stories written down and illustrated? Qur’an manuscripts are not illustrated, but episodes connected to accounts of the holy book certainly appear in other texts.

For “later depictions” - what period? Overall, try to add dates (even approximate ones) when possible – this helps

(Micrajnama) - This should be Mir‘ajnama

Depictions of Muhammad are not actually forbidden, but contentious.
