Speedy deletion nomination of Adam Crease Shipping
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Adam Crease Shipping, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. RadioFan (talk) 01:53, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
"Your" article didn't get deleted, "an" article got deleted.
[edit]Regarding your complaint that " so called editors have far to much power on this site and get all high and mighty because you can delete pages." I am an editor, just like you, not an administrator. I have no more or less power than you. I cant delete pages. I mark those that do not meet guidelines setup by a lot of people over a lot of time, so that other editors may consider whether or not they should be deleted. That's the way it works.
You also complain of "biased to one company" and demand me to "delete theirs or put ours back up." This isn't "your" page, Wikipedia is a collaborative effort and ownership of pages, even perceived, is frowned upon. Your page read like spam, there was no indication of how it might be notable so it got deleted. You also appear to have a conflict of interest, the existence other similar articles doesn't make your company any more or less notable here. Pointing out these other articles is a bit petty dont you think. Editors (and admins) here are just people. WIkipedia isn't edited in an organized fashion. As problems come to the attention of editors like me, they are tagged for others to review and often deleted. This is why "your" article went first. The other article is now receiving attention as well. It will be judged by the same standards your article was judged with and perhaps deleted as well.
Finally, Wikipedia is not here for you to promote your business. I suggest you look over WP:SPAM, WP:COI and WP:N before editing any more articles.--RadioFan (talk) 12:25, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
