Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for October 2
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ed Joyce, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ben Hutton. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Thanks for correcting my error in the List of presidents of Surrey County Cricket Club. George Nugent was my local Guildford MP in the 1960s and 1970s, so had an obvious Surrey connection, and it had never occurred to me that there might be a second Lord Nugent. - No problem, I had been editing Terence Nugent and noticed it didn't link to him. There does seem to be slight discrepancy on the years he served between the sources. The List of presidents of Surrey County Cricket Club page based on yearbooks has 1965-1968, his Wisden obit has 1966-1969 and the current Surrey website has 1965-1969. The yearbooks are mostly likely to be accurate, I found a Times piece from November 1965 which contains a quote from him as President and Thain's obituaries simply state he was president in 1969. I put late 60s into Terence's article to avoid reproducing an error but wonder if you have the Surrey yearbooks or other sources? - JP (Talk) 09:26, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
Thanks!
