Potential conflict of interest with August Sander article

COI Julian Sander on August Sander Page

Hello Lopifalko,

In this specific case it is difficult for me not to be involved as I am the international representative of August Sander who is one of my great-grandfathers. The article segments I edited were done to correct the information that was posted. A case in point is the press release from 2017 which was not put out by my gallery, but was actually sent out by Hauser&Wirth.

I see no other option of addressing these issues without correcting the entries as I have done.

I also updated the exhibitions list to show the exhibitions I have done with the work of August Sander in my gallery.

Would the appropriate way be to suggest these edits so someone else can do them for me?

You say "it is difficult for me not to be involved", so you do have a conflict of interest and so it is important that you please read WP:COIEDIT for guidance on how to proceed. An example of how your edits were self interested is that you added multiple inline external links to your own web site (see WP:EL / WP:PROMO). Another is that you added exhibitions at your own gallery (please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Visual arts#Exhibitions, they are not necessarily notable as they are not at a notable institution and only have primary sources.
