Peer Review of article Placentophagy by user sophiagibbons

The lead in this article has been updated to include more relevant information that was much clearer and concise compared to that of the original. Everything that was brought in is later mentioned within the article. The introductory paragraph is well written. The content that has been added is not all up to date but the older references are paired along with the up to date references, therefore they are definitely still relevant. If possible when completing the final draft of the article the user should add in specific references to individual species that do in fact take part in placentophagy, as mentioned for example the rodentia, chiroptera or carnivora. Each aspect that has been added to the article is neutral, nothing is biased towards a certain viewpoint. The entire article is well written and organized correctly into specific subtitles. It includes just two spelling errors that I noticed, when it says "The placentais" I believe there was a typo and it is meant to say "The placenta is". As well as in the image placed in the article it says "Mother goaengaging in placentophagy" which is more than likely suppose to say "Mother goat engaging in placentophagy". The image is placed well and compliments the article as it gives an enhanced understanding of the topic, the spelling error in the caption is all that needs to be fixed. My overall impression of this users article is that it is very well written and conveys the overall topic very well. The information added helps others to understand what the underlying use of placentophagy is. To improve this article the user could potentially add in a section on the history of placentophagy, as well as a section with specific examples of species who take part in placentophagy.
