[edit]Good evening Kaiserpneumonia, and thanks for writing. Actually, I thought that I wrote it the reason in the comments. Anyway, I deleted this sentence from the articles not because is wrong, but because of lacking consensus in keeping it. State grouping according to language is quite common: for example, Italy is one of x (i don`t know the exact number) Latin states, Sweden is one of y Germanic states, Poland one of z Slavic states, and so on. A couple of years ago there was agreement among the community of Wikipedia, not to write this information in the lead of country article, for each of this groups, including that of the Turkic states. Nothing against your group of countries, which I would like to visit soon, although my wife prefers the sea :-( , but it was just the result of a community decision.
