David Campbell[edit]

I see that you are contributing material at David Campbell, and about that same person in several other articles. I thought that this edit was unduly promotional and undid it; a lot of people contribute to a film, and we do not include a mention with wiki link and external link for each. By the way, I was alerted to the Campbell article by a report at WP:BLPN#David Campbell (composer). Johnuniq (talk) 07:15, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I don't know if this is the correct place to respond so you might not get this. This is my first time creating a Wikipedia page so I don't really know what I'm doing. I put the Brokeback Mountain edit in because when I listened to the music it was only guitar and the strings. So I thought the string arrangement was a considerable contribution in this case. What's a WP:BLPN? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kanebell Assistant (talkcontribs) 21:25, 19 August 2010
Clicking the link shows "Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard" which is a page where people discuss potential problems with articles about living people. The discussion about Campbell is a little old, and has been archived. That is, it is now on a "storage" page at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard/Archive92#David Campbell (composer) as a record of what was said (we do not edit archives). You should read WP:TP for some advice about indenting and signing comments, but don't worry about making mistakes – everyone makes them. Please also see my response to you on my talk page.
