My apologies

[edit]

The edit seemed suspicious as you gave no edit summary, as well the first search I made online showed no vegetable oil in the recipe and included pepper. In other recipes I found the addition of Olive oil but not vegetable oil. When items are added to articles w/o citation it makes a reviewer sometimes hard to trust the edit, I iwll take your word on it though but would like to see a citation if you ever get a chance or are able to find one.--Christopher Allen Tanner, CCC 21:53, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is hard to provide a trustful citation for a recipe since people are clearly free to modify meals and publish their experiments on AllRecipes and elsewhere. I am a Bulgarian and I have never had tarator with pepper in hundreds of visited restaurants around the country. And I haven't seen anyone add pepper as an additional condiment. I'd be curious to know the source of the recipe containing pepper. As for oil which is a necessary ingredient, the main type of vegetable oil used in Bulgaria is sunflower oil, used at least 95% of the time. But naturally, any type of vegetable oil will do. -- Miroslav Karamanov
