Hi

Simply adding a bare fact that someone made a speech to biographies is not useful, as it adds no useful information to the article. If it was a particularly important speech and there is sourced information about its content then there may be a criteria for including it, but otherwise per WP:DUE it is not notable enough. Also, when all the additions are about the same conference, it can look like spamming. Thanks, Black Kite (talk) 13:05, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Thank you so much for getting back to me. If it's alright with you I'll make edits to the speeches since there is definitely sourced content available on the specific important elements of the speech. Kavieshkinger (talk) 13:11, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm DaxServer. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to K. T. Rama Rao have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 14:54, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Kavieshkinger! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 14:55, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Of course, I completely understand. However, I did not return to my version but reloaded so I can add on to whoever did the edit first so that both of our edits could remain on the page. When I last checked, that was successful Kavieshkinger (talk) 15:00, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
