Miné Okubo[edit]

Very cool to see some attention paid to Miné Okubo's article.

I have a thought: it would be nice to have an example or two of her art on the page. Maybe one from Citizen 13660 and one other? The image results from google-searching her name finds good many on the web. But I have no clue how to find a suitably unencumbered image that could be uploaded to Wikipedia and used in this article. It occurs to me that you might be in a position as a scholar to find or obtain the permissions to do that. Many of the images on the web were published to illustrate articles or journal papers, so perhaps getting permission for a Wikipedia article is do-able.

I first encountered her work visiting the Skirball exhibition in 2015-16. Since you added mention of the current exhibit, I wonder if the earlier exhibition deserves mention also?

Thanks so much for your message! I agree it would be great to add additional images to this page. I'm currently training on image uploads and permissions - so don't count on it being accomplished too soon but I will work on this task.
