Some users on this page have subscribed to a voluntary code of conduct in respect of their edits to the talk page and article. The intention is to create an editing environment that is co-operative and to prevent petty disputes escalating.
If any of those editors feel that another of the named editors has broken the conditions they may report the conduct to the following administrators:
An 8 hour block may be imposed for any breach of the code, at the sole discretion of the administrator and without appeal. Neither the block, nor the action that caused it are to form the basis of further action, or inform decisions in another place (e.g. ArbCom). There will be no discussion of the need for the block, nor the consequences, on the article talk page.
The code is quite simple:
0RR - please do not revert other users changes, but discuss them and obtain consensus
Edit summaries and discussion is to concentrate on article content, not other editors actions or behaviour
Incivility by, or to other editors, not covered by the code, should be reported to one of the named administrators and not discussed on the article talk page. These matters will be subject to normal wikipedia procedures.
The named editors conduct is only subject to the code in respect of other subscribers to the code. Neither the code, or the protection of the code, is applied to non-listed editors, or vandals. You may add your name to the list of editors at any time, but may only withdraw from the code by giving 24 hours notice.
Talk pages are where people discuss how to make content on Wikipedia the best that it can be. You can use this page to start a discussion with others about how to improve the "User:Kbthompson/notice" page.
