Joshua Davids Ugbana (born 4th January, 1995) a decent from Delta state, sate, known by his stage name JHAMAL HODARI is a Nigerian Urban/Afro-pop and R&b singer, songwriter, recording artist and performer and Model. He grew up in a music oriented family being influenced by different sounds from Afro-Beat, Hip-Hop, R&b down to all types of music as where being played by his surroundings. [1] Jhamal Hodari has opened for the likes of Fela Kuti at the “ Femi Kuti live in Abuja” and was also part of the head line acts alongside with the likes of Niniola , Jesse JgaZ, Ric Hassani. [2]

Jhamal Hodari released his first project called THE XTREME[3], named after his brother who died in an accident who was also his then producer, the Ep which was also a compilation of old and new songs was short lived due to the birth of a new name : Jhamal Hoari which introduced him into a newer audience, On August 2016, Jhamal Hodarri got a publishing deal with chocolate city’s group’s : 5IVE MUSIC GROUP. Which gave Jhamal Hodari a better platform to release his single On November 18th 2016, Jhamal severed as an opening acting to Femi kuti at the: Femi Kuti Live in Abuja Concert.[4] In 2015, Jhamal Hodari (Then His’teria) released his yet single: Waya , which saw him into a new platform and had his song in bigger platforms both on radio and increased his fan base. Using a marketing campaign to attract fans who sent photos and their own rendition of the song. [5]. In the same year Jhamal Hodari began modelling for fashion houses in order to increase his brand as a house hold name. [6]

In 2017, Jhamal Hodari rleased a new single called IFE [7]. Later that year Jhamal Hodari went on to released JARA which was distributed on all streaming platforms.[8]

Other releases by Jhamal Hodari includes Abeg which he released through cloud9 music[9]

In 2020, Jhamal Hodari released ADURA which was released and published through The Guardian (Nigeria) Newspaper[10]
