Welcome to Wikipedia

Hi Kellyhei! Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw your note about getting locked out of your first account. I would recommend adding your email address to your account by clicking Preferences on the top-right of the page. This way, you can get emailed a link to reset your password in the event that you forget it.

One thing I have noticed is that you have only made edits to the Anova Culinary article, which appears to be dealing with a topic that you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to propose edits to the page on the article's talk page before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it, by adding {{request edit}}. Have a nice day! Daylen (talk) 18:12, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello Daylen. Thanks for the recommendation. I didn't add an email and couldn't reset my password. Chrome Auto sign-in failed me as well.
Regarding the second point, I don't have a connection with the company. I'm a sous vide enthusiast and have precision cooker in my home. I contribute in the community from time to time. Is that considered a close connection with the company? I turned to the media sources and extracted the info from there with some changes. Kellyhei (talk) 18:52, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds great Kellyhei! Just checking in, as per Wikipedia guidelines. Also, please make sure to make sure that you edits are from a neutral point of view. If you ever have any questions, you can always ask on my talk page. Cheers, Daylen (talk) 01:51, 7 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sometimes I couldn't just rephrase some of the news to appear from a neutral point of view, so I would resort to 'according to' and 'as reported'. While creating the draft, I turned to Oracle Corporation and tried to imitate some stuff from there. Even there, I had the same feeling in some sections, notably the 'products and services'.
