absorb vs adsorb

Hi Kethrus! Thanks for your message! I'm new to this talk page thing, so I hope I'm not posting in the wrong spot. About the adsorb vs absorb issue, as far as I understand, adsorb refers to an atom or molecule "sticking" to a surface, whereas aBsorb, implies it actually enters the bulk. I thought that all these deposition techniques that are used to create thin films or monolayers are based on aDsorption of atoms or molecules on the substrate surface. Or are atoms actually entering the bulk in ALD? Elizgoiri (talk) 14:30, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

@Elizgoiri: Honestly, I'm not sure, feel free to change it back as I may be wrong. --  Kethrus |talk to me  17:24, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
