Kevin, I have responded to you on my user talk page, regarding your work on the Peter Schiff article..Thanks.24.151.19.17 (talk) 13:35, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin: New reply. REPLY: What is your source for the family and religion statements? Are you convinced that those details are relevant to Mr. Schiff's bio here?24.151.19.17 (talk) 15:15, 15 August 2012 (UTC) Thanks.24.151.19.17 (talk) 15:15, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

REPLY: I understand that this may be true, but I am concerned that it is irrelevant and detracts from the presentation of Mr. Schiff's work and accomplishments. Also, the term "non-practicing Jew" is problemmatic.24.151.19.17 (talk) 15:42, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Kevin: You state Mr. Schiff is not an investment advisor. Wrong again. Read his bio on the Euro Pacific Capital website. In the future, please attempt to understand the material you edit prior to making changes and assertions without citation or source. It will improve the cooperation on the articles to which you contribute. Thanks.24.151.19.17 (talk) 16:53, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

KEVIN:[edit]

I'd appreciate it if you would respond to my discussion points on the talk page for Mr. Schiff and this one and the one for my IP. I have tried to respond to your concerns but you do not appear to be considering my messages to you. One thing I also would suggest is that you read the full archive, including 2 past pages, of talk concerning Mr. Schiff's article. Many economists in addition to myself have made the point that Mr. Schiff does not meet the generally accepted tests of who is to be called an "economist." This is by no means just my personal point of view. Thanks24.151.19.17 (talk) 16:23, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin, you seem to think that I recently made some edits to the first sentence when in fact, as you can verify by checking the history, it has been unchanged since before I arrived here. The sentence "Peter David Schiff (pronounced /ˈʃɪf/; born March 23, 1963) is an American businessman, investment broker, author and financial commentator." was written and agreed after long discussion and is consensus settled language. Therefore I reverted it from your edit with threatening comment. Please be more careful about attributing actions and motives without first checking the history and relevant facts. Thank you. By the way, I see that you reverted the color of the "Austrian School" background to that dark red. I find it hard to read the type with so dark a background and I urge you to reconsider the lighter shade, which also unifies the box by matching Mr. Schiff's shirt.24.151.19.17 (talk) 22:44, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

KEVIN: I have left several messages on the Peter Schiff talk page that give sources and other material relevant to the resolution of the infobox format disagreement. The page is due to unlock at the end of the month, so I would appreciate your attention to this to see whether it can be resolved before then. Thank you.24.151.25.89 (talk) 23:33, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

--KEVIN: Please review the talk on the Peter Schiff page concerning "economist" and the infobox. Unless you have further concern on the matter I will remove your recent addition of "economist" to the opening sentence and replace the infobox-economist with infobox person that will show Mr. Schiff's profile as a libertarian, per discussion.
