Kevin, we don't agree over many things - nothing in fact. However, I strongly urge you to take a break from Wikipedia for a couple of weeks. The case will develop quite well without you, and after a couple of weeks away, things will seem much clearer and you'll be able to focus far more objectively. Wikipedia is no great deal, and in the great scheme of things being in a Wikipedian is pretty trivial, in fact, it's very trivial indeed. @Giano: - thanks for the kind words. With the exceptions of offline outrach that I had already scheduled and drafting articles offline that are particularly interesting to me - I've alwaus found that writing a solid Wikipedia article will improve your knwedge of whatever you're writing about than most other things will - I have little intent to pay much attention to Wikipedia until near the end of the evidence phase (and the workshop phase,) I'll be able to put up a comprensive pre-written response outlining why said errors occured and why thy will not occur again, coupled with some examples of recent behavior that I think makes it clear that me being a sysop benefits Wikpedia more than me not being a sysop does and that with the the exception of something like Wiki-PR but ten timess the size (which I'd do workig with CA and legal, now that both departments are more responsive, than just outing them on -wiki. I'm set up to receive pings and am frequently on my laptop for different reasons, so I tend to notice them quickly.

By the way, out of curiosity, what do you think of this content? After he got blocked, he convinced me that there was basically chance he wa CH.. the other day I went ahead and restored all of his articles and have been arguing for hisThblock to be lifted. Before restoring them, I tracked dozens of sources from his articles, including one I had to get on an inter library loan. CH was well known for subtle fraud... I found none in JtV's stuff. He had 3 GA's and a couple dozen others that I'm pretty sure would have stayed deleted if I hadn't taken action. When thinking about 'content creators' vs other groups I think it's worth reemembering that people who only have written 50 or 60 articles also frequently facilitate the work of those who do far more. I've never gone through the GA process (although if the arb case doesnt reach wack results, I think I'll be trying with some articles related to immmunlogy,) but JtV alone is an example of where I helped someone who created valuable coetent actually have it stick to WWikipedia. I didnt write his three GA's and couple dozen other articles.. but I did save them from the abyss. Sometimes rhetoric comes off as if some people actively hate good content, but except for outright trolls I don't think that applies to many Wikimedians. it's no use asking me about people like JackTheVicar; they are just names I see on other people's talk pages. I actually don't have a clue what it is he is supposed to have done. I have a feeling I'm supposed to know who CH is; I'm afraid I've never even heard of him either. I just like to write and keep the writing-editors writing without thinking too much about the greater picture. It's my beleif that too many admins (yourself included) take the whole project way too seriously, and then get burn out when they realise that because of the great diversity of cultures and personalities here any real uniformity of anything is impossible.
