Minazuki translation[edit]

Hi, I've noticed that you added a translation for Minazuki on the zanpakutou page (and have a Ja-3 babel box, implying that you're fluent). Where did you get this translation? Is it purely from personal knowledge? I'm asking because none of the frequent editors of the Bleach articles have been able to find the meaning of the last kanji. Any help is appreciated. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 08:49, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Directly from one of the sources listed in the article. (Dosetsu, the guy who wrote it, is an old acquaintance of mine.) The "Surgeon Leech" one was suggested anonymously in the comments to that entry. ‹кндмцяд› ж «тдгк» 10:25, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Dosetsu also says: (This name is untranslatable. Absolutely. If you want to take a crack at coming up with a coherent translation, the kanji in it are: mi [meat/flesh], na [water droplets/dew], zuki [suck blood/sound of a shoal of fish or flock of birds feeding]. Best of luck, and many thanks to the valiant efforts of rukia, lacewood, stanking, and xerosphere for helping me find what the last two kanji meant in the first place! Edit: the_cowch has suggested "Fleshdrinker." I like the sound of that.). That means that even he douts the accuracy of the translation, and it probably shouldn't be in Wikipedia. However, I'm curious to know where he got the meaning of the last kanji. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 10:47, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
See your talk page on that. ;) ‹кндмцяд› ж «тдгк» 11:06, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
