Kitchee SC[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Matthew hk. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kitchee SC, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. You can't add citation (findarticles.com) that was already dead and fake the system by adding false tags of {{Dead link}}, with false parameter |bot=H3llBot, or it still not quite appropriate if you copy the citation from another article in wikipedia. based on your username, apparently your are representing the football club or just a fans of the club, either way, it seem a violation of the policy of username. Moreover, paid editing is not allowed in wikipedia. Matthew_hk tc 12:37, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This is the most silliest thing I've ever encountered on wikipedia. I do not understand why you make such horrible assumptions. I'm not even a really a Kitchee fan and unaware of this violation existed for having a football club name. If this is paid editing than I've afraid you've been sleeping for nearly a decade of 10 years. I'm simply adding back missing data that been here for a very long and also filling up some descriptions.
The part about " Kitchee also holds the best record against Italian teams by a Hong Kong team. They defeated AC Milan 2-1 on May 31 2004 [1] and beat Juventus 5-3 on penalties (2-2 after regular time) on June 4 2005 [2] in summer friendly matches played in Hong Kong. "

Paid editing ? if I was such a guy I be using a different username why the heck would I make this mistake, I just wanted to contribute missing data. Simply just having this on top of the page " Kitchee is a Hong Kong football team. It was founded in 1931 and currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League. " and nothing else, no detailed description in the way that every other football clubs have on their wikipedia. Are you responsible for the poor low quality description of Kitchee's wiki page ?
HOW IS THIS NAME VIOLATION..... IT'S " Kitcheeboy " NOT " Kitchee SC ".
I will now edit the data back that you removed with better links. If you wish to remove it than do it. I really won't waste any more time on this.

regarding the added content, you did not mentioned in the edit summary that the content was actually a revert of content removal. But as the external link was dead and cannot be fixed, it seem it is borderline legibly removed from the article due to verifiability concern. Regarding username, username policy stated that the name must be shown that it was represented as an individual. For example, Mike of KFC may be allowed but User:KFC is not, which in your case, Kitchee-boy is not adequate shown your are an individual. Matthew_hk tc 16:34, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Moreover, "the most successful" is a WP:peacock term and these claim must have an external source as citation. (and there is ongoing argument in WP:Football the term "the most successful" (or a like), even with citation, should or should not be used in the articles of Messi, C.Ronaldo and Maradona) Matthew_hk tc 16:38, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Are you telling I'm not allowed to edit anything on the "Kitchee S.C" wikipedia because of my username ? If I edit this without my Kitchee account than is it okay ??? or what about if I tell my mother friend to edit it ? are you still going to remove missing data that had been edited for more more than 10 years. Why isn't anyone adding any extra description on the top of the page ? Kitcheeboy (talk) 20:28, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You can apply an username change to drop the word Kitchee. Regarding the content, there is so much football article that did not have proper citation, but did not mean it was allowed, any content that can't be WP:verify should be removed. Matthew_hk tc 16:47, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

How do I do "apply an username change "? Kitcheeboy (talk) 20:38, 19 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
