Vote on Iraq/Al Qaida connection[edit]

I'm sorry, but how is this vote an example of 'idiotarianism'? Is this title dispute really an issue of blatant bias attack, or an honest difference of opinion on a politically-charged issue? In my opinion, it cheapens the purpose of Klonimus' anti-bias project to put this here, and does not Assume good faith of those involved in the dispute. -- RyanFreisling @ 19:19, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, but it really is a blatant bias attack. If it were anything else, there would at least be some discussion leading up to it, and some attempt to come up with a new consensus title. This started as a move-war of which the vote is merely a continuation. I am willing to assume good faith, until confronted with strong evidence of the opposite. I disagree. Moving a page does not require bias. It only requires a strong difference of opinion. Labeling acts as biased is very pointed indeed, and not to be done lightly. You may feel it's bias (in other words, prejudice), but I see it as a difference over the relevance of various facts upon which two different POV's have been based. -- RyanFreisling @ 23:46, 26 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
