Welcome!

Welcome!

Hello Kltwiki, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

At Wikipedia, new Users do not automatically receive a welcome; not even a machine-generated welcome. Welcome messages come from other Users. They are personal and genuine. They contain an offer of assistance if such assistance is ever desired.

I suggest to everyone I welcome that they may find some of the following helpful — there’s nothing personal in my suggestion and you may not need any of them:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!  Dolphin (t) 11:57, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

Hi Kltwiki. I see you have made more than 10 edits but none of your edits is supported by an edit summary. Edit summaries are important because they allow other Users to see why you have made the change. Please see WP:FIES. If other Users cannot understand why you have done this edit there is a likelihood someone will revert your edit. Other Users are under no obligation to study your edits in detail to try to understand them; the obligation is on you to explain what you are trying to achieve, and why. There are 2 ways of doing so - the simplest is to make use of edit summaries; an even better way is to start a discussion on the article’s Talk page. Dolphin (t) 12:09, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the kind reminder. Sorry that I was new to Wikipedia and unfamiliar with the appropriate editing procedure. Kltwiki (talk) 13:21, 6 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
