Hey, just letting you know that "positions" are somewhat trivial, especially with a group like Girls' Generation, where they all sing and all dance. Some may sing a bit more than others, but that's debatable. At any rate, I just wanted to let you know why I deleted that information. If you can find a reliable source that verifies their positions, go right ahead and add them in.  :) Thanks. SKS (talk) 17:18, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that most people feel this way (like, thinking that Hyoyeon is the lead dancer and that Taeyeon and Jessica are the lead singers), but it's all original research; therefore, it doesn't belong in Wikipedia. It's different than, say, a rock band, because they have obvious, distinct roles: a guitarist, a lead singer, a drummer, etc. But with SNSD, there isn't. They all sing, they all dance, and for the most part, they're interchangeable. And just because netizens say things are a certain way doesn't mean they're right; look at all the plastic surgery rumours. And so with something that is somewhat trivial and is unsourced and based on original research...it doesn't belong on Wikipedia. I hope that makes sense. SKS (talk) 00:24, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
