[edit]The Plato diff is made even funnier by the fact that the infobox image now shows a butterfly.
Such anachronisms are the fault of the "literal", as it were, way in which the code of old diffs is interpreted. I think it would be useful to have a tool that displays a page's old version closer to its actual state, by transcluding contemporary versions of templates and images where possible.
