I think it's perfectly fine to put the reference in to Sandra's curtain craft and such in there, but it needs to be verified somewhere that those two are indeed the same person. If IMDB says it's true, then of course, that's fine... but you should probably cite it so that there's no confusion. Amnewsboy 19:43, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't delete large chunks of text without discussion. User:Zoe|(talk) 23:40, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, sorry for jumping the gun. But could you use more meaningful edit summaries?  :) User:Zoe|(talk) 23:45, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request to peer review Prospect Park Zoo

[edit]

Hello, Knowpedia. I've submitted Prospect Park Zoo for peer review as a first step in obtaining a good article rating for it. Might you find time to look it over? As a participant in Wikipedia:WikiProject Zoo, I trust that you might offer pointers so that this article that could better support the zoo project. I live close to the facility, can visit it, and do other field stuff. I will look for your comments here on your talk page and on the peer review page. Hope you can help! I am looking forward to your comments and thanks in advance! Gosgood 19:49, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

what happened here?

[edit]

regarding this edit; what's up? why did you tag this? — coelacan talk06:45, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As you can see, an admin removed your speedy tag because you did not give a reason and the article is not a candidate for speedy deletion. Please do not take this as an insult, but I do not think you understand what speedy deletion is or how it works. You need to read WP:CSD. — coelacan talk07:05, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
So why did you try to use a speedy if the article has been up for AFD before? — coelacan talk07:35, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know I've completed your AfD nomination for this article; you can see the discussion here. It's probably a good idea for you to edit the discussion and explain why you think the article should be deleted, bearing in mind that it's been substantially revised since your nomination. Tevildo 14:57, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it's a little late to comment now; it's been speedy kept. What went wrong this time? Why didn't you complete the AfD? — coelacan talk20:53, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cease your personal attacks

[edit]

Your accusations that other editors "have an agenda" and your personal attacks upon homosexuals are completely out of line for this encyclopedia. Constrain your personal vendettas. With regards to your comments on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sexuality of Abraham Lincoln (2nd nomination): Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. — coelacan talk04:36, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not threatening you. I'm just asking you to cease engaging in personal attacks. I don't care how you feel about gays offline or on Wikipedia. It's none of my business. I'm asking you to stop making comments on Wikipedia that are hurtful toward other Wikipedians, like this comment.[1] There's no reason for that, and there's definitely no reason to accuse other editors of voting according to "an agenda", which is a violation of our WP:AGF policy here. I realize that you are a fairly new editor, which is why I'm trying to ask you as nicely as possible. — coelacan talk06:23, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I personally am at the point that if I see your user name attached to something in the future, I will question leaving any kind of editorial. I do not want to mess with you. --knowpedia 06:27, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well I'm sorry to hear that and that is not my intention. Please, tell me, do you not see what is wrong with the comments you made in this edit, considering our policies on WP:AGF, WP:NPA, and WP:CIVIL? I'm not trying to drag you down here, I'm trying to get you to consider what you said, in light of our policies. There are certain lines we ask people not to cross, in order to help keep the peace. I cannot read "sarcasm" into your posts, as that requires seeing your facial expressions and body language. And accusing others of editing according to "an agenda" is almost always unacceptable. Please, take some time to read over those policies I cited if you're not sure what I mean. — coelacan talk06:38, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
