Digital use in Columbus can be very helpful. Having a computer with me in my pocket(my cell phone) everyday and every moment is incredible. If I am lost, I can pull my phone out and look up directions. If I need help with something, then I can find an app that can help me with that. It is interesting the amount of apps that are available for studying, and for managing grades and such. Cars even have gps, and computers in them now that practically tell you anything that you need to know. In this day and age, it is impossible almost to make it through without technology.

Technology has also lowered the expense costs for many students in Columbus, Georgia, especially with textbook costs. For instance, students are able to compare prices of textbooks from the campus bookstore, local retail bookstores, and internet shopping sites to find the best deal, all from their computer. Technology is also helpful for students because e-mail and social networking sites allow students to connect with their peers. This connection allows students to build relationships, join groups, and connect with future employers. Of course, one of the most beneficial attributes of the technology abd internet to a college student in Columbus, Georgia is the ease of finding information. Sites like Galileo and other online libraries have made writing a well-sourced report easier.
