Kovu Sajkor is visual artist.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kovu Sajkor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. reddogsix (talk) 23:24, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at Kovu Sajkor

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Kovu Sajkor. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willingly to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 23:45, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Kovu Sajkor. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 23:49, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Kovu Sajkor for deletion

[edit]

Hi Kovu, I put the article that you created up for discussion on inclusion on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kovu Sajkor. It will stay there until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

You and other users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. If you could find some references in independent reliable sources, that give significant coverage that would be great. We are looking for articles that are independent of Kovu Sajkor, meaning they shouldn't be written by herself or anyone close to her, that satisfy our reliable sources policy, which basically means that there should be editorial control over the content. I'm not happy with the name reliable sources here, because it implies that sources that have no editorial control are by definition unreliable, which is obviously false, but sources with editorial control are the ones we are looking for. Lastly, they should provide significant coverage. An article devoted to Kovu would be ideal, but a more general article that has a full paragraph or so about Kovu should be sufficient. Though we prefer English language sources, if they are in Serbian, that's fine too. Lastly, I think you should be aware of the conflict of interest guidelines here: WP:COI. Hi again, please don't remove the template that links to the deletion discussion, as it makes it more difficult to find the discussion for those interested. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 15:40, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Again, please don't remove the template. Doing so is disruptive, and continuing to do so could get you blocked. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 16:23, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop removing the template. If keep on doing it, you will be blocked from editing. See this as a last warning before blocking. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 16:26, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I see no other solution than to block you for now. You have been blocked from editing for 24 hours, so I don't have to constantly babysit the article for the removal of the AfD tag. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 18:24, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for continued removal of material. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 18:27, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have also blocked 93.86.166.108 (talk · contribs · info · WHOIS) which I can only assume is you. If you want the article to be kept, providing independent reliable sources that support the content, or explaining how the article meets our guidelines for inclusion (see WP:N) will work much better than removing the deletion template (which will not work at all).
