User talk:Krenon
"Krenon" is a technical term in the science of limnology (study of non marine waters, especially lakes). Derived from the Greek "krene", it means "a spring of water" It is usually spelled "crenon" in English speaking countries but "krenon" in German. The concept of a spring is further divided into the eucrenon - the spring itself - and the hypocrenon - the flow of water away from the spring before it is classified as a brook or stream (rithron). "Krenon" was used in a Superman crossover comic to identify an agent of evil. I renounce that usage utterly!
