Excuse me, spam-dude
[edit]Please read WP:BRD - you made an edit, it was reverted. YOU may NEVER re-add it without obtaining new consensus on the article talkpage. You are turning that article into the biggest promotional piece on the project. I'm rather concerned right now that you have conflict of interest, and you need to know that promotion is not permitted. The primary way for you to avoid being blocked for edit-warring would be to reverse your undo's of my correct removal of massive failure of our external links policy and WP:PUFFERY ES&L 16:26, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hello, I do not see the same concerns you do regarding promotions. I am reading the guidelines you have listed and also comparing the Hillshire site to others such as; Kraft Foods, Apple Computer, and so on. There is no promotional intent here, I am simply attempting to improve the wiki page. Ksenyak — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ksenyak (talk • contribs) 16:32, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
- Well, then you need to obtain WP:CONSENSUS - so please, UNDO the reversions of my edits as is required, and start a discussion on the article talkpage. That's not optional. Also - keep conversations together - also not optional ES&L 16:35, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hello, please do not call me "Spam-Dude" because I have a difference of opinion on what the information should contain, there does not seem to be a fairness in you undoing my edits because of your opinion that seems somewhat unfair? Many other company wikis contain the products and information of the parent companies, that is not puffery or self-promotion but are simply the facts of the corporation. I have reviewed the articles you have linked in your communication and the links included in my revision do not appear to violate any standard. Also, please advise what you believe puffery to allude to in the article so I can try to see where you are coming from. I have reviewed Apple's wiki page and there are many such subject headings such as the company's strategy regarding the hiring of the new burberry executive, discussions concerning Apple's profitability and financial information. These data points are not different than that which I am trying to achive also. Ksenyak — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ksenyak (talk • contribs)
- You were advised to undo your edits, as per policy. You failed to do that, so I have once again removed the puffery from the article. I will repeat: do not re-add without obtaining WP:CONSENSUS for it through extensive discussion on the article talkpage. Re-adding has simply proven the promotional and spammy role you're playing - so please stop. ES&L 17:05, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:03, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
