Thanks!
Thanks! Still learning the ropes, but I anticipate not only using my user page User:Labombarde to empower my personal use of Wikipedia like no other encyclopedia has ever been able to achieve, but eventually to add to my contributions to Wikipedia itself, eventually extending beyond simple bits and pieces to fleshing out areas in which I have advanced knowledge and expertise held by few others (predominately in certain areas of pension actuarial science). Notability

[edit]

{{helpme}} I've been working on adding content and citations for Gamaliel Bradford (biographer), which displays a notice stating that the article "may not meet the general notability guideline." Based on the review I've done so far, I do believe Bradford can satisfy the criteria described in Wikipedia:Notability (people). How far do I need to go with my research and editing before I raise a question about whether the notability notice on the article may be removed? and how or to who would I raise that question? Thanks. Labombarde (talk) 19:48, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say that's enough. I've removed the tag accordingly. Cheers! :-] Fleetflame · whack! whack! · 20:10, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I'll still be adding more shortly, since I've taken to reading his autobiography, plus anticipate rounding out the list of his publications, if not more. But it's nice not to have to keep seeing that notability notice at the top of his page, despite it probably being appropriate when it was first placed there. Again, thanks. No problem! Good luck! Fleetflame · whack! whack! · 20:51, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
