[edit]

I couldn't find much information on Norm Spencer, or some of the other actors I was going to create articles for. I'm doing this for actors that don't have an article from the Rescue Heroes TV Series. I was going to do the other actors that were part of the Rescue Heroes TV Series that didn't have an article, but there were too many to do, and I'm busy, with school and all. Re: House of the Dead 2

[edit]

Hi. I've read your commentary on my profile, i will copy here for the sake of discussion:

Hello, t's perfectly okay that you removed the reference to Sonic from the page House of the Dead 2 (film), but make sure you check your sources before you make edits that you're not sure about. On the talk page you so confidently spouted that everybody was wrong about the "Green Hill" translation of "Cuesta Verde" and instead purported that "cuesta" translates as "coast," which it does not. In Spanish, "Costa" is "coast," "cuesta" translates as "slope." In geology (which I think is what the "land forms" reference is referring to), a "cuesta" in fact is a hill-like formation. So, while "Green Slope" is a more accurate translation, it is pretty accurate to translate "Cuesta Verde" as "Green Hill." This was a very minor case as it relates to the article, but in the future, please try to check your sources before you make edits (and slam other people, for that matter). Thanks! -Lamarcus (talk) 18:08, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Few comments:

1) I didn't "so confidently spouted" anyone. I just made a normal comment for discussion. I can't really say the same to your response in the movie's talk page + my profile.

2) I don't need to check any sources to post comments in discussion, as far as I know.

3) I didn't really removed the 'Sonic Green Hill' comment from 'House of The Dead' because 'cuesta in Spanish isn't hill'. I removed it because the comment (that the 'cuesta' used in the movie 'House of the Dead 2' was a homage to the game 'Sonic the Hedgendog') was unsourced and probably a original research, and moreover a doubtful statement.

A tag has been placed on Baths (artist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 04:08, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Cerulean (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
