Dear Ms Zappi,

Thank you for your attention to this article. In writing it I expressly requested improvements. I've not looked at it for some time and am now reviewing changes that have been suggested.

Unfortunately, I find that, aside from spelling corrections, these changes--save one--provide no reasons, as are requested under Wikipedia protocols. I am particularly interested in your replacement of the title "Senorita" with "Ligia". I accept that this may be appropriate according to current Spanish usage. If so, that needs to be stated, with explanation. (One of your "Ligia's" is misspelt.) I will wait one week for your reasons, failing which I will revert to the previous text. If your reasons are convincing, I'll then remove some of the "Ligia" occurrences, and just write "Montoya", as is standard in Wikipedia articles. Repetition of first names should only be used for emphasis or summing up. Otherwise it becomes wearisome.

I'll be attending to others' changes, as well, incl. the claim about exaggeration. All that I have written in this article is based on research from knowledgeable sources. This brings us to the most important point: do you have more good sources for the Montoya's life? I had some difficulty in finding the ones I used. In an important case, this was done by stirring up an Argentinian folder who is working on her research on Montoya, and reluctant to provide more information. I'm concerned that original sources for her life may now be disappearing, along with the models she folded. A sad loss.

Sincerely, Alethe (talk)
