Welcome

Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising. For more information on this, see:

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! DanielRigal (talk) 00:53, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion

[edit]

Hi. I have a suggestion. Rather than link to your blog, which is going to keep on getting removed, why not pick one or two of your best pictures and upload them to the Wikimedia Commons? If you are prepared to licence them to the Commons then they can be used to illustrate the article. --DanielRigal (talk) 01:13, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to West Park Asylum. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. DanielRigal (talk) 18:52, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to West Park Asylum, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:20, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours to prevent further disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at West Park Asylum. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. tedder (talk) 22:06, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:EL very carefully, and then post your request to add the link to Talk:West Park Asylum rather than continuing to post it on the article. Promoting a link that you run is frowned upon, even if doesn't contain advertising/commercial content. In addition, it's a link to your personal blog containing other content. tedder (talk) 22:08, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
