Soy Protein-related edits[edit]

Note that there are numerous sources - including the FDA - that definitively state that soy is a complete protein. Here are some links: [1], [2][3][4] [5]. Your addition of "claimed to be" is not encyclopedic. The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is whether material is attributable to a reliable published source. The source in the article and the reliable sources above state that soy is a complete protein. If you wish to debate this by presenting reliable sources to the contrary, please do so on the articles talk page by either starting a new topic or joining an already-started topic on this subject. Thanks. --Yankees76 13:31, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Those are not all scientific studies. The FDA is an opinion. This is easy to understand. Add the wording claimed is fine with me.

They don't all have to be - and they are considered reliable sources by Wikipedia standards. Again - the source in the article and the reliable sources above state that soy is a complete protein. You're merely adding grammatical quantifiers which are considerd weasel words and are not encyclopedic. If you're going to add "claimed to be", you should add by who, and offer the opposing viewpoint of those who claim that soy is not a complete protein. Try discussing your edits on the article's talk page and before inserting your own interpretation of what the sources are. Yankees76 19:21, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
