Please don't create a lot of identical articles with slightly different titles, as you did with Mick Lyons - footballer, Mick Lyons- footballer, Mick Lyons -footballer etc. When it's reasonable to think that people might use a different way of spelling or writing an article title, you can create a redirect from the alternative spelling to the main article, but that doesn't really apply to making loads of articles with slightly different punctuation in the title; there is no point in creating lots of copies like that. Just FYI for the future. --Bonadea 09:19, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

mispelled category

[edit]

The category you created, [[Category:All Ireland winning Captain's (football)]], is spelled wrong - It should be All-Ireland-winning captains (football). I don't know how to move it - so it'll have to be done the hard way - ie on every player's individual page.--Macca7174 10:05, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dont worry about moving them i'll run awb over it , and shouldnt it be Category:All-Ireland winning captains (football) ? (Gnevin 09:47, 10 April 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Leinster Senior Football Championship, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mark Ward (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
