IMHO the French counterpart of Ivy League universities (for law and business) is rather Sciences Po, ENA or "Parisian" business schools.

"they both administer the University Library of the Pantheon"

Do you mean Cujas or Sainte-Geneviève ? AFAIK both are managed by Paris I. Apokrif 18:42, 15 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I said that Assas likes to think of itself as Harvard, not that it is. Sciences Po also think of themselves as Harvard. While the grandes écoles certainly represent the same kind of elite as the Ivy League schools do, none of them are law schools. Paris II is France's premier law university. As I said in the article, Assas is apart from the other French universities because it's so selective and geared toward an elite education like a grande école.

And I mean the huge university library Place du Panthéon, the one with the block-long line in front of it at all times.
