User talk:Lettres
Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, Lettres! I am Marek69 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. Thank you for your contributions. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Revert/Edit warring note
[edit]As an infrequent editor, you may not be aware of the WP:Edit warring policy. Please see my comments at Talk:List_of_people_declared_persona_non_grata. Also read WP:BRD about Bold-Revert-Discuss]]. CarolMooreDC 16:07, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
Edit warring - Clausnitz
[edit]Please stop edit warring and follow the WP:BRD process that was drawn to your attention above. We can keep changing each other's edits, but eventually that leads to a ban which gets us nowhere. I've not changed your text this time, but explained my preferred wording on the talk page. In responding please consider where we can agree - that's always helpful - and then we can work on what's left. The emphasis is on being factual and neutral; we're not on the side of either refugees or protesters. Thank you. --Bermicourt (talk) 19:43, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Warning
[edit]Your recent editing history at Clausnitz shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. November 2020
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Wizard of Oz (1939 film). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. (CC) Tbhotch™ 00:09, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at The Wizard of Oz (1939 film). It is clear that you are deliberately trolling. If you believe the film is a horror film, you HAVE to prove it with a source, otherwise, you will be reported if you insist to re-insert it. (CC) Tbhotch™ 22:31, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
