This is the first time I've written an article for the Wikipedia. I've been using the service for years now and want to contribute. I'm gathering all relevant data and images on the subject I am posting. Any guidelines or perhaps a "guide to writing" a wiki article would be helpful. I'm learning by looking at the source of other articles. Thanks a lot!

Re Levon Clark. "I've talked to Wikipedia Admins and they assure that the article will be accepted". Are you prepared to say which admins and link to their assurances (if written)? When you created the article did you not read the message "promotional articles about yourself … will be deleted in accordance with our deletion policies"? What made you think that the message did not apply to you? The advice from this admin is wait until someone else writes your bio. -- RHaworth 09:38, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks RHaworth. I'm sorry for any trouble I may have caused you.

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Datawhore_front_may2007.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Datawhore_front_may2007.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit]

I have tagged Image:1406109332_l.png as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again.
