[Written before the block. Posting it anyway.] Hi Liuyg (or Wikihalper1942). I have seen the Leiden ranking website. I did electronic searches for "South" and "China" but did not find South China University of Technology at all, so the page does not your claim that Leiden ranks SCUT as "4th in China". If I made a mistake, just let me know what rank SCUT appears at, and I will add the information to the article myself.

Pages on universities have to present independently confirmed information on universities. Vague promotional language like "world class" and "top ranking" is not good enough. Also, you added no source to support your claim that SCUT was founded in 1924 and not in 1952. (Sun Yat-sen University was founded in 1924.) Besides, the long list of rankings is not proper Wikipedia format (see WP:UNIV): you should just name SCUT's rank and add the reference. Finally, your large edit is often made of incomplete sentences, and it removed a lot of useful wikilinks. You added too much flawed material at the same time, so I had to revert.

Some of the information you want to add might be valuable. Other editors, including myself, will help you if you add a small amount of material each time, or if you discuss your additions on the talk page. Wikipedia is based on discussion and consensus, so please stop adding this badly formatted, badly written, and badly referenced material all at the same time! Once again, I have to revert you, and I will notify an admin if you revert back again. Madalibi (talk) 02:58, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
