Alan Lowenthal

[edit]

Thanks for starting the Alan Lowenthal article. A suggestion: If you add in the fact that he and Betty Karnette essentially traded places because of term limit restrictions, you'd have a good 'hook' for getting the article on the Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did_you_know section. You'd need to expand the article to 1,000 words. Adding some info on his port legislation might make the article big enough, and then add something about the Lowenthal 'dynasty' (daughter-in-law Sudja (sp?) is a Long Beach Councilwoman, and a son is a judge or something).
