More specifically, please do not whitewash articles by removing sourced criticism. If you have a specific reason to remove something please discuss it on the talk page of the article before removal. Thanks. JoshuaZ 02:26, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- Let me start by saying I like biographies in general. I don't have any allegiance other than to the unfiltered unbiased truth. Adolf Hitler, Michael Jackson, Al Franken, Ken Ham (another YEC) even Rush Limbaugh all seem to have gotten fair shakes in their bios. This guy Kent Hovind must be worse than all of them if one relies only on the bio as it stands. I would like a fair opportunity to actually edit the page without all the emotion or a casual RV with no reason. I think that is the stated goal of WP anyway and would like to see that applied here.
Actually if you would have read my arguments under NPOV I explained some of my edits. I did not remove sourced criticism. As stated I am not looking for a "puff" (note the scare quote :-) piece only a straightforward and better organized BIOGRAPHY without scare quotes, weasel words, and only biased critiques. You know, some history, first hand sourced beliefs that kind of thing. All I get from reading it as it stands is that he is a very seedy character from the POV of a very biased writer. As stated here Larry's Big Reply we do a serious diservice to the truth ridiculing out of the mainstream ideas.

Please do not remove maintenance notices from pages unless the required changes have been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you.
Have your reviewed the proposed notability guidelines for songs? As the preamble to the proposed policy states, "there is consensus that the vast majority of songs do not deserve an article specifically devoted to them." This consensus is rooted in the one of Wikipedia's guiding principles, namely that Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. I'd strongly recommend that you review the criteria and then consider rewriting the article in accordance with them. Otherwise, the article stands a substantial chance of being deleted as non-notable --Rrburke 18:02, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
