Armenia-Azerbaijan 3 update: Parties added, evidence phase extended[edit]

Hello Lord Roem,

Three parties have been added to the Armenia-Azerbaijan 3 arbitration case. The evidence phase has been extended and will close on February 21, 2023.

Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Armenia-Azerbaijan 3/Evidence. Please add your evidence by February 21, 2023, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Armenia-Azerbaijan 3/Workshop. For a guide to the arbitration process, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Guide to arbitration.

For the Arbitration committee,

Inquiry on my "Indefinite topic ban"[edit]

I've been unable to contribute much to Wikipedia after being barred from articles relating to Afghanistan/Pakistan. After the confusing incident of 2 months back, Could you review and have me contributing to the website again? Thank you. PreserveOurHistory (talk) 12:02, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@PreserveOurHistory Hi there. You haven't edited much at all in any other topic area since the topic ban was imposed. Usually, we look to see positive and conflict-free work in areas outside the disputed topic to demonstrate an editor is capable of working productively on the site. As of writing, nothing has materially changed since January 2nd when the TBAN was imposed, so I'm not inclined to alter or lift it at this time. That said, please know you are free to appeal the topic ban in the manner described at the bottom of the TBAN notice on your talk page. Lord Roem ~ (talk) 02:05, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Once more, I remind you there isnt much clear reason for my initial ban, what happened was I said someone vandalized something, I didn't understand and things were not made clear. I cannot contribute positively to Wikipedia any more. I dont have anything to edit for, no topic of interest if you've banned me from my country. How about just giving me a timed ban instead?
This is not logical, my point is that I was not banned for purposeful misconduct, maybe put me on extra watch again? PreserveOurHistory (talk) 10:53, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No. The discussion and explanation for the initial topic ban is back here. You've been provided several additional explanations on your talk page as well. Frankly, if it isn't clear why disruptive conduct and edit warring is a problem, I'm not sure an additional discussion here will be fruitful. If you want another chance, work elsewhere on the site and demonstrate you can edit productively, or appeal the sanction. I'm not lifting it at this time.
