Lucien, welcome to WP. You've recently added a bunch of external links in WP articles to commerical websites. I have removed many of them. Please familarize yourself with the guidelines at WP:EL and remove any other links you may have added that violate this guideline. For the most part links of this type are viewed as pure WP:SPAM as WP is not an advertising site, but an encyclopedia. If you need any help along these lines, please let me know. Your contributions to WP are welcome. --Mike Cline (talk) 14:07, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 23:56, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Fishing rod. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 day for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 21:05, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
